Hi all,
I'm planning to list this on eBay but I can't find it in RB9. The closest jar is 1875-7 but that's a quart and the base lacks the "1". This is a taller than usual half gallon, almost 9 1/4" tall, ground lip, base embossed BT & Co 1 as shown in my photo. Any idea what it's worth? It has an unmarked zinc lid that I suspect doesn't really go to this jar as it fits but doesn't screw all the way down to the shoulder. Thanks for any help!
Jane

Shown next to a regular Mason's 1858 hg. It's the one on the right.

Hello Jane, I think you are right about your jar being 1875-7.  It's just not listed in a HG.  Could be pretty good if a couple Mason collectors wanted it.  It lists for $30-40 for the quart in RB #10.   The "1" is a mold number.   Congrats on your jar!   Paul

A couple more questions: What glass factory does BT & Co stand for? And is this still considered a HG since it's taller than a regular HG?

Thanks!
