Mason's 1858 56 oz jar - 7/20/2008 10:19:49 PM    tworden   Posts: 3 Joined: 7/20/2008 Status: offline I have a Mason's Patent Nov.30th 1858 jar. I thought this was a 1/2 gal but measuring says 56 ozs. I beleive it is a smooth lip jar. Color is almost clear but not quite, very slight green tint. There are no mould numbers on the bottom only a round circle. Tried to find it in Redbook #9 but no luck. Any info would be great. Tim Post #: 1
