I looked through my red book and couldn't find the exact jar to match this one. What would you guys call this one? I can get more pics and better ones just let me know what you'd like to see. Swiz

Some nice bubblage. The TH in 30th is underlined, it has the apostrophe in Mason's, all the words are spelled right. The O in the mongram is round, not diamond shaped. I would call it aqua, its a little and I do mean just a very little on the apple green side but not enough to call it apple green. Any help would be great. Thanx, Swiz

Looks like a # 1920, the crudity of these jars make for 1000's of variations.

Hmmm...1920? The first one for aqua quart is $3-$6 but mine doesn't have the Extd Mar. 30. 72. There's no other aqua quarts listed for 1920. The open bubble on the front will detract from the value a bit.So you think its a $3 jar then? Swiz

Hi swizzle, Your MASON jar does not have a transfer bead, so therefore I have to go with an earlier forming time.  I assume the mold seams go all the way up to the top of the finish.  Is this correct?  I also assume that the top of the finish was ground.  Is this correct? Now then, why didn't you include a picture of the bottom?  That would tell us if it was an ABM product.
I am not sure I know what you are looking for.  RED M.

Just looking to learn a bit more about jars and a general value. The seam does go through the lip and the lip is ground. I'm new to jars and I'd like to know more about them as I seem to be coming across a lot more during my digs lately. Now what do you mean by transfer bead? I was short on time and my camera battery died. That was the only 2 pics that I had at the time. I can post a base pic too if you like now that the battery is charged again. I think I will anyways. give me a few minutes. Swiz

the dates listed in the red book for the jars under #1920 are for the various zinc lids that are correct for this jar. The qt aqua is listed in RB#9 as 3-6$ but that can vary based on the collectors desire to own it. 1920 is NOT the date of manufacture but the ref # assigned for the red book.

I agree Mark we both need to learn more about jars. Coreya. Thanx for the help. I already knew about the reference number. I didn't realize that I was making it sound like the date or age of the jar. I guess there are too many variations to possibly get them all down in writing. Swiz
