Found three or these in a dump we were digging. Made of fairly thick milk glass,
about the size of a regular chicken egg. Hollow with the protruding end ground. I have dug a lot of the porcelain eggs people used to put in hens nests to keep hens on their nest but haven't seen any like this. Might be a bottle? Any ideas?

That's the only thing I have aiso thought of. Possibly had some sort of wooden handle attached to the end? Just wondered if anyone had any other ideas. Seams too heavy for a xmas tree ornament or any type light bulb. Not very practical for a bottle. Just don't know.

Think we must have found the Glass Egg type that once had a handle for fixing socks etc. Mystery solved. Had a feeling that was probably it. Thanks for the help.
