Milk Glass What? - 3/10/2005 5:28:05 PM    Ye Olde Prospector   Posts: 614 Joined: 1/23/2005 From: Bath, Maine Status: offline Found three or these in a dump we were digging. Made of fairly thick milk glass, about the size of a regular chicken egg. Hollow with the protruding end ground. I have dug a lot of the porcelain eggs people used to put in hens nests to keep hens on their nest but haven't seen any like this. Might be a bottle? Any ideas? Attachment (1) Post #: 1

Possibly had some sort of wooden handle attached to the end? Just wondered if anyone had any other ideas. Seams too heavy for a xmas tree ornament or any type light bulb.
