Status: offline 		I would imagine rodent pelts retain a smell for quite some time.. depending on how much meat and fatty tissue was scraped off.. ..or are we talking about something else now?

Status: offline 		Nah what you do is you pour salt on the inside of the pelt for a few days. This will suck up all of the juices. Although, if they got covered in blood, they may smell like fish. But they are preserved. The one in the top right corner I have had since Augest.

Status: offline 		Well, I can't de-bone the tails without it breaking off, so I salt it with the bone in it. There's not really any meat in them to rot.
