Getting ready to move from my apartment in Philly to Iowa for a 10 month stint volunteering for AmeriCorps. Thought I'd take the opportunity, while packing up my bottles, to photograph my very modest, mostly philly, soda/beer bottle collection. Some I've posted before but I don't think anyone gets tired of looking at bottle pictures so I'm going to post them again! Here we go!

Hello John,

Modest or not, those are some nice looking bottles, thanks for sharing. Also, props on the volunteer work, that is the kind of initiative that made America great, and if enough people follow your lead this country will once again be great for all people living in this nation.

When I saw the Biederbeck bottle I could hardly believe it, I don't know how prevalent they are in Philly, but I have a good childhood friend named Biederbeck, and I've been casually searching eBay for a bottle with his name for 2.5 years. I actually just searched eBay earlier today, no joke, but had no luck as usual. If you would be willing to sell or trade the bottle, assuming it isn't super rare or valuable, I'd give you more than it's worth so I can gift it to my friend.

Hey John, You are doing great for such a short time collecting! Makes my stuff look pretty crappy....Too late for a group shot of the whole collection? I know you have more there.

Guess there are bottles buried in the midwest as well!

Hey Stephen,

I sent you a message about the Biederbeck bottle. I'm moving out of town on Wednesday so if you could send me your address asap I could get the bottle out to you before I leave.
