More then I bargined for!!!! - 11/6/2006 8:16:43 AM    swizzle   Posts: 1325 Joined: 3/2/2005 From: Upstate NY Status: offline $25 dollars is all it takes to fill the livingroom and the bathtub and alienate the wifey. I bought out a bunch of bottles from the junk shop that I frequent. The woman placed the bottles out in the back of the building and they started to fill with water and some were breaking. She kept saying that she was going to bring them and she wasn't. I offered her $25 to clean up the mess and she agreed. I will have plenty of pics in the upcoming days. I know I have at least..at the very least in the neighborhood of 300+ bottles. I have at least 90 cobalt screw tops. The all to common vicks, noxzema, and bromo's. I also have some older wines, whiskeys, and at I believe a amber gold brandy. I have a mess to go through. I have to sort through all the screw tops to find the goodies. I'll post more later. One is a J.R. Watkins, Shampoo Jelly?!? Its a small jar and another small jar that has a small J and around the shoulder it simply says FREE SAMPLE with a W and 21 on the base. A small clear poison? Ribbed on 3 sides and a plain side that held a paper label, a diamond pattern Sanford's PENIT jet black copy ink 10cents. It says its for fountain pens or reproduces on thermo-fax and other copying machines. A small jar that say's shuyler's new york. A cobalt blue, screw top pill bottle with a backwards P and a regular P in a circle. A small aluminum tin that says Savon Creme pour la barbe fougere royal houbigant paris, and a tin rawleighs foot powder. 2 small clear bottles that are 3 sided. I also got an antrol with both city names on it. Is anyone interested in a full pint coffin flask? It has a nasty 8 inch crack with a small chip off of the crack but it still displays well and is whole. If anyone is interested just cover the shipping and its yours. Yeah right lol I just set up some free boxes for the ones I don't want or can't sell. I got 2 places that I can place free boxes. If I still can't get rid of them that way then I seal the box and get them with the mystery factor. Nothing like a sealed free box that say's "FREE OLD GLASS, TAKE THE WHOLE BOX". I like it myself but I'm trying to make my money back on this lot. The thing that's gonna kill it is the shipping.
