 Over the last couple of summers I have had many suprises while diving for bottles.  I have found many jugs not just glass but like the one pictured.  Some of these are very old it is rare to find any that aren't broken but occasional I do we have 11 of these in different sizes. If anyone has any ideas abut this jug/jugs let me know.   I hope everyone enjoys the pics.  Arthur

That is a really great find Arthur.  I love those old crockware/stoneware jugs.  I have a few like them that I picked up in Scotland..They held whiskey of course.  I think yours is much older as it looks more crude, but the form and handle are very similar.....Ron

Hey Warren its hard to tell the color of the inside of the neck area seems to be a darker shade.  What would that mean if it were glazed on the inside.  Arthur
