Musical bottle - 2/8/2003 9:41:42 PM    Guest Hi, I hope someone can help me. I have a bottle that was given to me by my grandfather in the early 70' s, I had put it up and just found it and now would like to know about it. I seem to remember him saying it held sake. It is clear glass with a class dome inside. In the dome is a Japanese lady in a red kimono, there is a wind up key on the bottom of the bottle to make the lady turn and music play, I don' t recognize the song. The bottle is wider at the bottom, narrows, the curves out slightly before tapering to a neck. The lid appears to be some type of light wood with a cork attached. There is a black band decorated with gold around the top and bottom edges. A small chain with a tag hangs on the bottle. It reads: Prince Musical Bottles. For your drinking and ?. Prince Mfg. Co. Can anyone tell me where to find information about this bottle and if there are more like it available? I would love to have a couple of more. Thanks so much.   Post #: 1
