I wanted to share this soda go-with from the My Coca Company that I dug recently.  My Coca was a Coca-Cola imitator bottled in Kentucky and a few other southern states. Bottles found in amber and aqua.  Coke successfully sued and put them out of business ca. 1913, I believe.

I was surprised and very excited when I dug this ash tray.  About 3 3/4" dia.

Are you sure it's an ashtray and not a display meant to hold a My-Coca bottle for a counter display? It's cool either way, congrats.....Jim

You might be right Jim.  I wondered the function of that upright portion.  Maybe it was to keep the bottle from tipping.

Anyone seen counter displays of a similar form?

Hey you guys,

The "upright portion" is to attach an open box of matches.

Cliff, It's a great recovery. I've not seen another, though that's not saying too much.
