I dug up my first 2 Poison bottles today. The bigger one is 3.25 inches tall and is a 1 oz bottle. It says RICO on the bottom, Also says USE WITH CAUTION, NOT TO BE TAKEN, USAGE EXTERNE, and POISON, on the sides of the bottle.  It has a mark in the lip, but nothing is missing.

The second bottle is tiny, it is just over 2 inches tall. I am going to try and figure out all the numbers on the bottom, they are
73
R36  ( This is the one I am having a hard time reading)
679389

I have just started collecting bottles. But I know nothing about poison bottles, Could you guys help me out with these two. I put RICO and the numbers in the search bar and nothing related popped up.  Thanks

Sorry the picture is not the greatest.

Nice poisons! The amber triangular is fairly common, but still cool. I really like the RICO bottles. One of my favorite Canadian bottles. There was also a similar one for carbolic acid. I have seen this style of poison sell for $20-30, sometimes more or a little less. I'm sure there are sizes and varieties that are more desirable, but all of my books are American, and unfortunately do not list the Canadian poisons. Sweet digs, I hope you find a few more! ~Jim

Good afternoon, Sorry Jim I didn't realize my picture was that bad, both the poison bottles are Blue glass. I have another picture, you can see them better now.

The triangular cobalts and ambers of that style seem to be worth about the same amount. Neat bottles, I always thought they were English, but it looks like maybe they are Canadian. There was a labeled amber one on eBay recently. I think it sold for around $10. Good luck digging. That is a nice little pair of poisons, and there are some rare Canadian poisons out there to be found. ~Jim
