Mystery Fruit Jar Lid - 1/2/2012 5:54:49 PM    BRichardson5   Posts: 434 Joined: 8/29/2003 From: Pacific Northwest Status: offline I recently dug this ornate fruit jar lid. I want to put it and many others on ebay, but would like some more information about it before I do. It basically looks like a flower with numerous thin petals. The size is standard for a fruit jar lid- it is clear, and I imagine the fruit jar would have had a wire bail that fit snugly between one of the many "petals" on the lid. If you have RB, there is several pages of product jars in the back...yours is more than likely a jelly jar lid...now to pin point the jar it belongs to...is a guess...I dont collect the jelly jars... I dont know if there is jelly jar collectors on this forum, they would probably be able to give you more information.
