I have a line on a Wyoming Druggist. If anyone can help me out with any info I'd appreciate it. It's a clear stepped lip and is embossed "Rock Springs Pharmacy Co. / Perscription Specialist / Rock Springs, Wyoming".

Thanks Zane

Zane,
I have that druggist, as well. It should have a banner running horizontally, with "Prescription Specialists" embossed inside it. I paid $12.00 for mine, about a year or so ago. The book (below) lists it as very common.
Here is some info for you, taken from Warren Borton's "Wyoming Bottles" book.
Bill

"James R. Whisenand was born in New Boston, Missouri, on September 16, 1885. In 1892, his family moved to Laramie, where his father was an engineer for the Union Pacific railroad. He later gained employment with the Eggleston Drug Co of Laramie.  J.W. McDougall bought Newman's Central Drugstore in 1906. In 1907, James R. Whisenand joined McDougall in the operation of the Rock Springs Pharmacy. When McDougall died in 1908, he bought the business and continued on until at least 1914."

whew!

I'm glad I didn't buy that one yesterday. No offense, but when I'm buying out of state druggists it's for trading or profit.
