I FOUND A NEW BOTTLE DUMP TRAVELING LAST WEEKEND IN A GULLY NEXT TO A ABANDONED OLD HOUSE, I LOOKED DOWN AND IT WAS NOTHING BUT BOTTLES. I STARTED LOOKING AROUND AND MOST OF THE STUFF WAS FROM THE 40'S AND 50'S BUT I STARTED TO DIG DOWN, AND NEAR THE BOTTOM THERE WAS OLDER STUFF, THAT BLOB TOP IS MY FIRST I WAS A LITTLE SURPRISED TO FIND IT. MOST OF THE OLDER STUFF I FIND IS BROKEN. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK, BUT JUST MY LUCK IT'S 2 AND A HALF HOURS AWAY.

Now that is a nice dump! The people who lived in the house probably threw them all down there...

By your selection, it looks like this dump was used from the 1890's to the 1970's..

Can you post a picture of the abandoned house when you get one? I can tell how old it is.

Here is a of picture of the old house. close by is a large fieldstone foundation that is possibly from the original house or barn
it is a large deep hole built with large fieldstones (no picture yet) , is it worth checking inside that?

Here is a of picture of the old out buildings, I think they could have been moved to this
spot because one of the buildings had a hitch attached to it.The hitch had a all iron wheel attached to the hitch,
are they collectable?. I tried to probe around the out house but could not find any pits.

Dumps are often found in the middle of the woods... Don't know why. The dump I go to when we go to my cousins' house is in the woods...
