Jim, I apologize,I somehow looked at your other photos but not the beer in this thread.It is most certainly earlier than 1890,probably late 70's early 80's.Is it embossed HGCO on the base?This stands for Hemingray Glass Co. which started across the river in Covington and later moved To Cincy and then Muncie,Ind.The bottle is listed in the Ohio Bottle Book as being from Cincinnati and valued at $40-$50.This is a 1999 price,so I would guess $50+.Great bottle,and sorry about my lack of attention.Also,didn't mean to scare you with the 40ft. number this would be the exeption.15-20ft. would probably be a better average.Doug
