You could get three or four of Odell's guides for that price. 5 or 6 if you get them used. While auction house prices must be looked at to determine a value, they are not the definitive benchmark of a fair market value. Auction prices can be a bit higher, or lower in some cases than say at a bottle show or on Ebay. I'm guessing if all the prices were culled from auction listings (which can be found online) they are mostly higher end investment bottles. Is it a hardcover tome? A nice glossy, color picture section? 3 or 4 hundred pages?
