Hi. I' m new to this and have been spending some happy hours at an old town dump here in Omaha Nebraska. (Its now an abandoned part of a city park) I realize my finds are not that old (yet) but i did wonder just how old I am getting so far. Could readers suggest a decade or what some of these bottles are ? -Dave. I' m new enough into the game that its thrilling to find ANY bottles not broken. The broken little tops and great bases I find already broken are heartbtreaking. I carry all my trash out of the park; its a great stand-by to show people who think I' m up to no good. :) Not sure how to link a photo here, so I' m trying the img src method.

try to post a pick by checking the box next to the words EMBED PICTURE IN POST. then to the left- CLICK HERE TO UPLOAD. it will give you the option to browse.
find your pic and select it into the text box. then click upload. this will send your picture to the web forum. photo size should be under 200kb.

DAVID,
AS YOU GUESSED MOST OF THE BOTTLES SOFAR ARE NEWER, 40-60 YEARS OLD OR SO . I THINK A FEW COULD BE OLDER SLIGHTLY, BUT I WOULD NEED A BETTER LOOK AT THEM. EVER THOUGHT ABOUT DIGGING OUT OLD OUTHOUSES ?
GOOD DUMPS ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN AROUND CENTRAL IL ,I STARTED DIGGING THEM WHEN MY DUMP DRIED UP AND HAVE HAD REAL GOOD LUCK.

I would agree.
Most of these bottles are from the 1930' s and 1940' s.
Mostly ABM and not very collectable.
It' s still fun to find them, though. Keep looking!!!
