Hello!
I would like to say "thanks" for having a site filled with info which should help a lot of newbies such as me. After a few months of browsing I decided to register. Over the years I've made a hobby out of collecting older bottles and it's getting addictive. I find most of my bottles at estate and yard sales.
This bottle I need info on is a very old one indeed. I believe it's from the 1800 to 1820's. Handmade and handblown. I have no idea what was in the bottle. There are many imperfections, especially the neck area. The top of bottle is not flat but out of shape and the base of the neck has a very unusual look about it. It appears whoever made this bottle may have been a "newbie"
Flowers were handcarved all over the bottle and not one is the same, they are all different from each other. There are very few bubbles, just a couple along the bottom side. Any info anyone would have would be greatly appreciated. I have other pics that I will post.

Howdy bass, and welcome!
Your bottle there is a piece of "cut glass" meaning the flowers where cut on a gringing wheel. This was also done on the lip, and not very well I might add. As for age, no where near 1800. I'd say less than 100 years old, much less.
Lobey.
