I thought that these were the same until I cleaned them up and found that one was block letters and the other was script. I haven't dug either one before.

Hey Matt, here's a Hagerstown beer. Ever seen it before?

I really liked finding these. The Underwood's Ink on the left was a large quart size master ink and has a lot of the label still intact. See next photo.

Here's another probable master ink even though it says Sanford's Inks and Library Paste. It has a tooled crown top.

Here's another tooled crown top with the cap still attached. This amber Staunton Coke may be one of the newer items found in this dump.

I have found a lot of the common Robert Portner beers with a crown top but this is the 1st hutch style with a Baltimore loop closure that I have found.

And finally for a while, this cool doll's head. Note her left eye is a lot lower than the right and both glass eyes are intact as well as the teeth.

For the first bottles, I like the one on the left better for some reason.  I wish we could dig with you, Dan.  I wouldn't even want to keep anything.  Just finding stuff like that is so much fun.

P.S.  Those Underwoods are pretty fantastic.  The label is neat.  Do you dig a lot of privies, dumps, or both?

I have only dug in 2 dumps during the last 2 years including the one from a few days ago that produced some amazing bottles, and only 1 pontiled privy during the same time period. As you know I have dug in the same dump 2-3 times a week for almost 2 years. Although I prefer privies and early ones at that, it has been difficult to leave a TOC dump that continually produces as this one has. During the past 4 or 5 years I have probably dug 15 or so privies, some pontiled but mostly TOC era. One day I will wean myself of the TOC dumps and concentrate on my passion which is mid to early 19th century privies. Thanks for the nice comments.

Thats an interesting lid. I think that company made rootbeer and fruit syrups for sodas.

Hello Dan , I am pretty sure this bottle is a Weidemann beer from Cincinnati , Ohio . Not sure if I spelled the maker right or not , but I am sure you understand what it is .
