The Underwood's Ink on the left was a large quart size master ink and has a lot of the label still intact. See next photo. As you know I have dug in the same dump 2-3 times a week for almost 2 years. Although I prefer privies and early ones at that, it has been difficult to leave a TOC dump that continually produces as this one has. During the past 4 or 5 years I have probably dug 15 or so privies, some pontiled but mostly TOC era. One day I will wean myself of the TOC dumps and concentrate on my passion which is mid to early 19th century privies.
