I got this in the mail today, from the very kind bombboy! Thanks very much for it, man! Now, I should probably be afraid, getting packages in the mail from people named "madman" and "bombboy", but it seems bottle collectors generally CAN be trusted... Anyway, the jar in question is a nice local one, from Nutley. I suspect, due to its enormous size, it was actually in the druggist's shop. It's a little newer than stuff I usually see, but still, how often do you see a jar like this? I was smitten with it after I first saw his post about it, and I was not disappointed when it got here! How old do you think? 1930's? It's got the Cappstan glass mark on the base, and some numbers. I'm not sure I spelled it right, anyway, it's the little pawn logo. ABM, obviously. This druggist, Clyde W. Heberling, was at the same address as Henry T. Lefferts, another druggist. I'm sure this guy bought out Lefferts at some point. It's a lil dirty, but it's got the original lid and bail, which isn't even rusted, so I'll get back to you once I've cleaned it off...
