Hi Kelly, I did a double take when I saw that picture you posted of the doorknob sans the metal, I thought you posted a picture of a chamber pot with an unusual opening I'll give your sugestion a try, I have at least 6 or more different types of knobs with the globs of rust attached. My wife and I dug this afternoon for a couple of hours back at the place where we found the Wan - Eta Cocoa bottle last weekend. No great finds, another dozen fruit jar lids, a couple of pair of glasses, some 1920's stuff. But you what? We had a great time anyway! Oh, we did find a neat little parfume bottle with a heavy white metal crown top that looks suspiciously like the 'caps' on the infamous 'ink, poison, holy water' bottles that Bearfan posted last month.
