A friend of mine who is a roofer by trade recently gave me this cool lightning rod he got off a house at work. Anyone on the forum know anything about dating these?

Someone is bound to have written a book on them. They still make them and most look as if they were from the early part of the century. You can get the plain more modern ones but they lack character.

Reggie Lynch has some on his site.

i know nothing about lightning rods, but i know alot about lightning rod insulators!  Make sure your friend keeps an eye out for those to...
