Have not seen anything like this crackle, seem goes up to about an inch below the top...

Welcome, and I'm not sure either, but imagine it to be 20th Century Crackle. what are the dimensions?

it is about 5 1/2 inches tall maybe 3.5 inches wide at the widest point

Found out what it is, a Lucien Lelong cologne bottle was hoping it was something more interesting... oh well
