Found this bottle mostly buried in sand on lake shore in East Texas. Any help with what it is? It measures about 8 inches high, 3 1/2 inches wide, and 2 inches front to back. Thanks for any help. Never collected bottles, just curious about this one. Who knows, this might start another hobby that I don't have enough time for, haha. I have other pictures if required. Only marking is on bottom. Thanks -- Tim

Here is a picture of the bottom. Is the marking from Owens-Illinois?

Yes, you are correct of the bottle manufacturer being Owens-Illinois. This mark dates the bottle from 1929-1954. Without embossing it would be difficult for me to say, the shape to me looks like some sort of alcohol but that is a guess. It isn't worth anything but who cares, it is still a cool bottle. Keep looking and you will find that bottle hunting is an addiction you can't control, lol.
