OLD BOTTLE TOOWOOMBA NEED INFO PLS - 2/2/2003 12:05:45 AM    Guest Had this bottle sitting around for a long time and never got around to seeing what it is. It says JAMES GOGGINS TOOWOOMBA. The only TOOWOOMBA I know of is in Australia. Can someone check out the pic and give me some info or at least point me in the right direction. Any help would be appreciated. RE: OLD BOTTLE TOOWOOMBA NEED INFO PLS - 2/2/2003 5:11:18 PM    Guest This is a soda syphon without the top. Very thick heavy glass to stop it exploding when filled at the factory. The top part - handle spout and working parts - were held in place by a split metal collar located under the blob at the top. Don' t know the town but it certainly sounds Australian. I looked up graves in their town records and there is a james goggins burried there along with a few other goggins. I wonder if his establishment is still around?
