When I first met my father-in-law in El Paso (1980), he took me to this special spot in Texas. We drove from El Paso out into the flat lands NE and met with a old desert farmer that he knew and the farmer told us we could go on his land. They slapped each other on the back, and off we went. We drove up to a natural spring, on a small hill (mountain for elp). There were some adobie walls standing. At the base of the hill, there was a opening. Inside there were walls with indian painting. arrow, and spear heads everwhere. I have a few ;) I found the bottle around the (calvary) adobie walls. I found some calvary (metal) tack too. Dated 1919. I have had the bottle for all these years, but never could put a date or value on it. I collect anything. I also have a 1929 Uncle Jo bottle. 4oz., and a Nehi bottle dated 1925 from the same area. I follow the indian, cowboy trails. Happy Trails I don't have a date on the Purex bottle too. Didn't come from Texas. (Purex came back in a e-mail and dated the bottle 1930)
