I like the concentric circles glass fruit jar lid. If it is for a Ball jar, those aren't easily found nowadays.

Nice digs. BTW, What size is that crock top? Could we see a picture of the other side? I have a small crock that I need a top for. If it's the right size would you be interested in selling it?

Mike here is a picture of the jar. The lid fits down inside so 3-3/4" looks like it's the right one. The color looks right too as the color is like the one to the right. Please advise what I owe you for the lid - cost, shipping and all. I can pay by paypal or money order. I will send you my shipping address when we get the cost figured out. Thanks a million.

I was going to ask it they were Godfrey's.  I kind of have a thing for them! If you have any more pictures, I'd love to see them.  Some of the Godfrey's stand very crookedly.  Way to go, Mike.  I'm glad to see such a nice person finding good stuff!  Keep us posted.

Well that sucks too. You would pull and Island road dump in Morristown. Maybe you will come up with somewhere else to dig down there. Keep walking the creeks.

Here's one that I picked up last October at the Richmond bottle show. It's an OP version.

I'm new to this so my question is where do you all dig for these old bottles? I live in Minnesota. I know nothing about this. This seems interesting to me. I also like to use my metal detector to search beaches for "stuff" I have a bad back so my hobbies have been on hold~
