Old medicine bottle? - 11/23/2003 11:58:42 AM    annpeck   Posts: 6 Joined: 11/4/2003 Status: offline Please help. I found this bottle in Bear River Nova Scotia. It is 6 cm 7 mm or 2 ¾ inches tall and reads “Preston of New Hampshire” Wondering if anyone knows its value, age or original use?? Thanks for any information you can give me. I've dug these in New Hampshire and yours is missing the green glass stopper with the metal cap that goes over it. People will buy them for the color but I don't think they command high prices. I finally got mine open (another post) so I'll let my wife try it. I took a sniff after I opened it but it still smells like ammonia to me, where's the lavender? The embossing is on the other side.
