Went digging on an invite with my friends Mark and Tod and this is one great item i brought home. A great bottle many thanks to Mark (botlenut) and Tod

Nice bottle. It was lucky that there wasn't a second "H' in MECHANICVILLE -because if they would have cut one more letter on that slug plate the mold would have exploded!

Here you go, this is what i have to this point.
I have a Wm hollwedel from brooklyn,they were related and both ran bottling/brewing businesses. they also were both musicians,this is dated 1894,i do not find much at this point beyond 1920 range....but still looking.

Ok so do you think that fella possibly bought out Hollwedel Earlier on? or Purchased His Brewery?.What time frame do you think the bottle has..sry to bother you and hijack your thread.Ive looked for so long to figure out more on it..im already cheicking google for omel blobs = ) Ty so much I owe you one

If he did not buy him out, he had a controlling interest because in court documents from 1888 and 1897 he is listed with Chas f hollwedel. your bottle with the picture is from the stretch between 1892-1910 range best i can find. i know both are  hard to get and the wm. f hollwedel is found in 2 variants,1 with small mug base like mine and 1 without. I find in the patent argument of 1896 that the one you have was the only variant at that time.hope this helps.
