It seems that just about everyone in the family was involved in some way selling patent medicines. It is made even more complex by the fact that there were many similar names in the familiy. There are at least 2 forms of the bottle you have , one marked P Fahrney's and one just marked Fahrney's.  They may have been sold out of Waynesboro PA.  They seem to be early bottles from at least as early as the 1880s or earlier. I originally thought they were put out by Peter Fahrney before he moved to Chicago (or right after). I have to say i dont have them quite figured out yet. I'm searching for one with a label.  I just found a light teal colored one, I think they are neat bottles.
