Orange Crush with wrong patent date? - 1/23/2012 7:59:28 PM    chosi Posts: 106 Joined: 2/25/2008 From: Northern Virginia Status: offline Someone contacted me through my website and said they have an Orange Crush bottle with a patent date that says "July 28, 1920".  Normally the date would be "July 20, 1920", but he said his clearly said "28" and not "20".  Photo is attached, but it's pretty fuzzy.  I did a google search, and couldn't find anything about an OC bottle with the 28th as it's patent date. Without that its difficult to comment. As for ever "hearing" about one with July 28 on it, I haven't, but others may have. Or it could be a 0 that just looks like an 8. Be sure to check out this one at the bottom of the page for "clear" bottles like the one in question. I just scrolled through it real quick but didn't see a July "28" mentioned.
