Picked up a new bottle for my collection from my Guru's Guru and Long Time Bottle Man Extrordinare Jim Jack and he offered this as a throw in. I was very happy to get it because I have never seen a Mueller with two T's in Paterson until now, and I was also amazed at how much they tried to fit into the Tombstone Slug, looks awfully busy in there compared to the later issue on the right.....

I need to wash off the old price tags and it has a small 1/4" flash in the lower left but I'm elated to add it....Jim

Lookin' good Jim! Nothin' like having two variants of one guy, that's how you keep finding more and more different ones of the same thing

Thanx Ken, I have 2 Mueller quart hutches and know of a 3rd variant as well.....I'm always on the hunt and constantly sending out e-mails to guys like Jim and my other Paterson contacts asking if they have this or that, and if not can they please keep me in mind....

I have no doubt some people consider me a PITA because I post so much about Paterson Bottles but it really has paid off in two short years here....

Nothing wrong with collecting something certain; especially when you live in that town. You could be like me who collects what he digs and has a little of everything from pontilled meds to D-patent Cokes

Keep up the posts on Paterson bottles and go-withs. Always enjoy seeing the history of a town/city told from the bottles that served them. Warren

Nice tombstone, Jim. I love busy slug plates, and it's even better when it's a tombstone.  ~Jim

Love those tombstone slug plates... The Glen Ridge hutch has a tombstone slug plate... That's the only holy grail I have left!

Super nice hutch.

Epackage, you prove that not all digging for bottles happens in the ground. Congrats on another score.

Epackage, I know you're that man to ask about Paterson bottles. Just picked this up for a few bucks. It's pretty sick, and could use a tumble but I'm wondering if its anything special with the backwards N in NJ.

Jim Jack is a good man. We used to dig way back in the day and he makes the Reno show every year.

I never trust a man with two first names. e.g. Ron Paul

Hey Jim,

Is the one "T" Mueller on the right a bit citrony or straw colored? I'm wondering about the selenium content. Great to see these two side by side. That 7 seems to be fading away...

Hi Travis, they don't show up every day and getting one for a few bucks is always good when it comes to "error bottles" in my opinion....Here's mine along with a few other "error" Paterson's, the blob Allen only has 1 backwards N and the Swinley has a backwards J. The most common mistake is Paterson spelled with 2 T's instead of one.....Jim

When I first got started Jim and Tom Leavy sold me some very hard to find bottles, the next time they came across a nice selection they dropped of a whole box full for me to go thru with great prices on them along with 4 or 5 freebies, I Love those two guys !!!!

It was so cool going thru my Old Bottle Magazine back issues and seeing stories, ads and pic's from jim in them, we chat online alot because I'm always asking him to find me this or that if he can....

Jim
