I just thought this could be something because of its size, shape, and the way it looks.  I mean it could be just a coincidence but it looks made to me. Came out of an outhouse!

Looks like it was on its way to being an arrow head when the knapper changed his mind. My wife found a cast off pile with many half finished pieces in it.

Those "quartz" ones are nice. Pretty hard to find a whole one,as most around North GA. are different colors of flint. I have a red flint that looks like a cull too. A shame a well made arrow head would be great.

I see now that its half finished......cool
The fact that its almost 3.5 inches long made me think spear.  you never know what you'll find until you did it out.

great find  nice piece.  While diving in the new riverin VA and WVA I come across some of the indian artifacts similar to that.  I will post some tomorrow
