I don't really collect milks, but I couldn't pass this one up when I saw it. Any clue as to where it's from? The name sounds french and the address pops up in Canada, so I though that was possible. Has anyone seen this milk before, or even one embossed with a cow? It's an earlier one, probably 1920s-30s. Thanks

it is always hard to find a milk bottle's location without a town name.... since of its age the street that it once was located on could be gone now and removed so it is hard to tell... altho i do like this bottle with the cow on it..... here is a picture from a local dairy in my area and it has a cow on it too!

Wanted: Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, and Bedford County Bottles (located in pennsylvania)

Alright! I tracked it down. I'm 99% certain that it's from Rochester, NY. I found a marriage record from 1925 in Rochester. Louis Paskal married Agnes Huddy. The record said they would travel west after the wedding, but remain in Rochester. There just so happens to be a 65 Spencer St. in Rochester, coincidence? Then I found the piece that clinched it for me. There are records online of a Paskal Dairy milk bottle from Rochester, NY. I'm convinced. Wonder how it got to CA. Milks are something I know nothing about. I know the value depends 90% on region. Is Rochester a very collectible region for milks?

That's really cool.  I like that cow picture on the front.  I grew up in Rochester and I'm interested in Rochester bottles.  I'm no expert, though and I'm totally unfamiliar with this one. I live in Kansas City these days so I'm not sure who to ask.  I'm sure some of the collectors in the Rochester area could give you more information.

Does it have any markings on the bottom?   Reed Glass Co in Rochester made a lot of bottles and they're often marked with an R in a triangle.
