Hi all,
Had some success this week digging a 3-4 house dump 100 yards behind my house in the woods. Found some interesting bottles, just can't figure out some specifics, anyway here is a look.

The Green bottle looks like a Champagne finish it's 10" tall with a big kick-up, No Seam marks, is it free-blown or BIM? The Aqua one is just to the right of the Champagne not sure if it's Pontiled? The short blob-top is a 3-part mold, with Whittle Marks galore, embossed on the bottom "Friedrichshall C Oppel & Co"  and a nice clean Amber "Witter Springs Water" embossed on base "W.M.S. Co. San Francisco" and the rest:
"Howard W. Spurr Specialty Co. Boston & New York" light Amethyst color, "B.F.Miner Toiletine Montague Mass"
"Dr. B.J. Kendall's Blackberry Balsam"
"Barnet Brockton"
"Dr. Seth ArnoldsBalsam"
"Foss Extract"
"Henry K Wampole & Co. Phili & Toronto"
2 plain Janes with circle marks up near the shoulders, Never saw this before!!
BROKEN Jaundice Bitters open pontil base ............damn!!
Anyway..........happy diggin................Mike in Maine

The Seth Arnolds balsam is an interesting one. Is it DR SETH ARNOLD'S BALSAM GILMAN BROS BOSTON? Or other embossing? Could you post a photo of that one?

Hey Gunther, Thanks for the interest. Here is a quick shot of the Dr. Seth Arnold's Balsam Gilman Bros. Boston. It's a mini only 4" tall, looks like an early Owens Scar on base. Thanx again, Mike

Hi, I'd like to try and identify the bitters. It looks like a Jewitts or Richardson's form but doesn't fit the emossing for jaundice. Could you get an up close with more info? Thanks, it's a research think I like to do.

Yup, I guess it would, good eye. I wish Jeff and Holly would leave the prices up after a sale. They sold a pontil one. Heck, they sell a ton and should put their own pricing guide out. What top shelf bottles they come up with.

I also found this huge applied lip top to a huge water jug.......I'm guessing?? It was right next to the bitters...showing it next to a common plain Jane...for size comparison

Looks like an Owen's ABM scar to me...

Do you have anymore words/letters on that bitters bottle?

Ron
