K Ronny here we go. this stuff can be tricky, sticky and down right dicky. There are a lot of reproductions of these things as you know. touristy type, roadside mexican made goodies made for folks just like me. Some of it's nice though, but basically nic-nac dust collecting paperweights. 70% of the real stuff is on the shelves illegaly and the other 30% commands high high prices, usually at auctions. The chances of you finding a legal, piece of pre- columbian art in pristine condition at a rt.20 antique antique store, with out the seller knowing what he/she has is slim, Slim. The state of preservation would be a remarkable thing indeed on your piece. Look at her shine you crazy diamond. Of course what the hell do I know from ancient artifacts? I'd answer any of your queries whether I knew the answer or was just talking through my hat. Rick. (edit) I like it what ever it is! R.
