I have this purple bottle (it's more of a reddish sort of amethyst color) and the bottle looks like, to me, that it must be old. Anyone have any idea what approximate date it might be from or what it was used for? It must have had some sort of glass stopper originally, I think, because the inside top of it is like that ground kind of glass. The bottle is 6 inches tall and the base is 4 inches wide.
