Hi Group, I' m looking for information on an Druggst bottle and a Chicago bottle. The San Francisco is clear and embossed " R.E. White Apothecaries Hayes & Cough S.F." the other is an unusual Lt. Green bottle Conical in shape that looks like a master ink or some kind of food bottle Embossed " H. Wichert Chicago" around the base. They appear to be from about 1890 which is the age of the other' s that I dug today. Thank' s Ken

Thank you, That help' s alot. Scarcity is the best way to est. value. I' m not up on California bottles too much except for west coast whiskies. I' ll bet alot of bottles were destroyed or buried when they rebuilt that area. I was on market street some years ago when they were building a high rise, they were coming up with trash and debris from 20 feet down. Unfortunately I could not dig :-(

Still finding the broken ones in the area. Sold it for $2800.00 it went higher after that. I don' t know where it is now. They are beautiful bottles. Ken

Hi Mike, I' ve only seen the example in Bob Barnetts book, other than that I don' t have any info. I have dug alot of Hotalling pieces around the Sound though. the last thing I dug was a Brandy with the double collar in amber which is pretty scarce. Unfortuntley it had a few problem' s. If I dig anything else I' ll let you know, but I think the odd' s of finding anything that exceptional of a bottle again are slim.
