I pulled this out of the junk bucket from my last dig.

Junk or what?

I was hoping is was local Rexall but not! what's the chance of finding an R.I. bottle in Hawaii? could it have been any farther from home?

Hi Rockbot! Yes, that bottle sure is a long way from home. Everett & Barron Co made shoe polishes and blacking. Their bottles are quite common, in both cork and screw top. I believe yours is listed as RI-1811 in the Little Rhody Bottle Book, third from the bottom on this page:

Thanks for the info John. It still has white residue on the shoulders and it does match the RI-1811. ABM corker. Kind a unusually top.
