Common bottles with local embossing sell like hotcakes. If you find piles of bottles embossed or labled with nearby towns or names, never chuck 'em. People will snatch that .50 bottle of yours and shell out 10 -15 bucks without a thought.
Saw a guy at a flea market who had and old green coca cola on the table for $5. He would sell it, take another from a box beneath the table and replace the one that sold. He did this ALL DAY. A true salesman. I bet if he put two dozen on the table he might have sold a couple for maybe 2 bucks each.
I also heard of some one who keeps bottles embossed with names, and calls listings in the phone book with the same name. He sells every one he gets.
Some food for thought, and a good way to turn your extras into $$ to support you digging.
