IT WAS THE WORST OF SHOWS IT WAS THE BEST OF SHOWS!

The worst part is we sold less then we have ever sold at a show since starting in the early 90s...90 bucks!

As usual this time of year we really needed bucks!

The super great part was metting new peple and seeing the old ones..like a family!

We got to meet COPNOMORE from the great state of N.C...JAMES. that is here on the forum. We had a geat time shotting the bull for a good while[we shot the ole bull up pretty good too..a great new friend..priceless!]

Again we got to see the nice guy T."CHERO COLA"D [TOM] WE had a great talk and I am almost sure he was the one that gave us the new bottle calender..[I say pretty sure as I starting hurting and took some pain meds and 2 somas..so it coulda be the white rabbit that gave it to us...I am almost sure it was our good friend and nice guy T.D....great job on the calender..very classy...so glad we have it [thanks again T.D/WHITE RABBIT!} the picture is in the month of OCT? my birthday month....has bottles that have been sold..great to have a pic. of them! GREAT JOB MIKE!!!!!!!

Great to see my old friend JOHN"GREASY"GROVES![For years thought his nick name was greasy cause of all the grease he put in his bottles to take out the haze etc...but found out it was from when he was young he put lots of grease in his hair!~]

He has a large basement that is filled with bottles papers items and who knows what..can get lost in there for hours looking at all the great things he has.If any one wants to go check it all out he would love it...every thing there is for sale..PM me and I will give hin his phone no. all I ask is to give he 80 somen old great guy respect..he also has a great sense of humor and loved to haggle!!!He live right outside ROME GEORGIA!!Good luck on seeing all he has in a day!!I have git so great deals!

So great to see and talk to so many others I have known since the 70s...wonderful people..we have lost some over the years and it is sad..one was buried with a hutch atlanta coke bottle with him...a very very happy day when he dug that rare bottle up!

I LOVE YALL!!!!AND YALL ARE WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT!!!JAMIE

Nope JAMES..the Rome show is the only one for us any more...I never got to a Columbia Show...though I have known for years that it is a great one...have set up and been to the Atlanta show since the 70s... in the 90s when we had stuff called money and we were on vacation in SAV. and there was also a bottle show there!

My fav. was also in 98 when Nina,my parents [R.I.P.!] and I went to Ashville N.C. on vacation and I set up at the show[never seen so many ACLS!]...We all had a wonderful time...my mom said it was the best vacation she had ever had...so very thankful for that!!JAMIE
