This thread offers some information about methods used by forum members to re-size their photos when the files are too large to upload. There are several ways to accomplish this, so look through this post and find the method which best suits you...

Forum member Steve/Sewell was kind enough to put this first tutorial together for us.. it's an easy way to shrink your pics to the right size, without any special programs..

Next option, as presented by forum member Lobeycat; using Windows Paint:

"Right click on photo, and choose "Open With". From the list select Paint. In Paint click "Image" and from the drop down select "resize/skew". Type into each box the percentage you'd like the photo reduced and click OK. X out of paint an click Save from the box that opens."
