It is a very misleading auction, it is listed under antique bottles, so I have to believe that the high bidders think it is the real deal. If you ask, you get the correct answer it is not an authentic period flask but an 1920 Spanish piece, but the answer will not be posted in the auction listing. Is this is an outward attempt to deceive? I cannot comprehend how someone with such a stellar reputation can do this. I have always held this dealer in the highest regard, now I don't know what to think. I do know that I want to email the winning bidder at the end to let them know, none of my business really, but I can't stand to see someone taken that way.
