Reed &Carnrick .N.Y. Russian Kumyss bottle Can anyone ... - 2/15/2003 7:39:26 PM    Guest I understand that kumyss is a fermented Russian drink made from mares milk.The bottle appears very old. It is bluishgreen,very thick and heavy with many bubbles and imperfections. It reads, siphon kumyscen bottle. for preparing kumyss from, then below it has a cross with the word kumyscen in it with a sicle moon over one side of the cross. iv' e had this bottle for yrs. and have never found any info such as age, origination (N.Y.?),rarity or value.I would appreciate any info.
