Reminds me of a lightbulb - 5/13/2005 6:07:08 AM    RazorsEdge   Posts: 238 Joined: 5/8/2005 Status: offline This bottle is about 4 1/2" tall and has nothing but an "I" on the bottom. It has embossed ridges at the top. (obviously for grip). What was this for? Here is a photo of what I know is a fingernail polish bottle circa 1940. It is 3 1/2". Just subtract that long "gripper" type neck (you would not want to spill it on the rug) that yours has and they are about the same . Polish, remover, shoe polish, salad dressing, engine oil, shark meat!!! All you'll keep getting, I would say, is guesses; no matter where you post it...
