Thanks to Irene back in August I have been finding stuff along the river bank with out having to do much digging. Guess Mother Nature has the antique glass bug too.

Mason Jar...screw top but lip looks ground...stain inside won't come off its not rust, I think it may be what ever was left in the jar when it was dumped

Maybe the oldest find. Looks 3 piece mold, no embossing other than the crown, deep olive in color. Any ideas on origin or age of this guy? Wish I had the neck I could have at least fixed it.

Use a tablespoon of salt and a couple of ice qubes on that stain and it may come out. Like cleaning a coffee pot. Put the stuff in put on a lid and swirl it all around. Will not hurt the glass.
