Last two Cheros. Rare Newnan Ga. and a Carrolton, Ga. with "fluid" spelled out. Funny how all these Chero Colas with "fluid" spelled out showed up. Most are abbreviated "fl".

Two bottling works. Fairly common Moultrie and Atlanta.

And finally Terry's. I've always wanted to add this one to my collection. Splurged a little for it, but still got a pretty good deal bundling it with the Carolina Moon.

Good to see GLASS MAN and DIG DUG in Rome.

Thanks Mike. The Sparta Chero Cola is not too rare. The block letters are what you normally see, the slant cursive lettering would be much better...

Chero Cola has some weird capacity listings. Including 7 oz, 7 ounces, 7 fluid oz, 7 fl ozs, 6 1/2 oz, 6 1/2 fl oz, 6 1/2 fl ozs, 6 1/2 flu oz, 6 1/2 fluid ounces, contents 6 1/2 fl oz, min cont. 6 1/2 flu. oz. There may be more. The only thing that is generally agreed upon is that 7 ounce versions were 1st then the 6 1/2 versions. The change to 6 1/2 probably occurred on Cheros in 1915 or 1916.

Celerycola may have more info on the subject.

This has always been one of my favorite bottles along with the Flomaton AL Chero-Cola written in Pepsi script.

Here's the bottle chronology from the Chero-Cola book:

1912 Arch Script
1913 Angled Script
1914 Angled Block 7 ounce
1916 Angled Block 6 1/2 ounce
1923 Twist Chero-Cola
1927 Twist Chero (Cola removed due to lawsuit by Coca-Cola)

Moultrie GA was among the earliest Chero-Cola franchises issued the first year in 1912. The slug plate bottle was probably the first used there.
