Ruby Red with yellow swirls chestnut flask - 7/9/2007 10:07:57 AM    epgorge   Posts: 2526 Joined: 12/29/2006 From: USA Status: offline I found a gorgeous ruby red, with yellow swirls, chestnut flask at an octogenarian’s home. She had had it for many moons. It has a smoothed open pontil on the bottom and has a very smooth rounded lip.  She wanted $50 for it and opted to wait until I find out more about it. Question: Has anyone seen any ruby red with yellow swirl chestnut reproductions? I don't have a picture. I did end up giving her $2 apiece for these two items. Joel Attachment (1) Post #: 1

I am seriously considering heading back that way and giving her the $50 (if dickering won't help and I don't think it will as she is a fiesty if not crusty old gal).
