I found a gorgeous ruby red, with yellow swirls, chestnut flask at an octogenarian’s home. She had had it for many moons. It has a smoothed open pontil on the bottom and has a very smooth rounded lip.  She wanted $50 for it and opted to wait until I find out more about it.
Question: Has anyone seen any ruby red with yellow swirl chestnut reproductions? I don't have a picture.
I did end up giving her $2 apiece for these two items.
Joel

Thanks Spencer,

I figured it was either that or an egg holder for a robins egg breakfast.

Stay tuned Cappy,

The ladies home is about an hour and 1/2 days drive from me and in a direction I have no need to travel. I am seriously considering heading back that way and giving her the $50 (if dickering won't help and I don't think it will as she is a fiesty if not crusty old gal). Reproduction or not it was one beauty.

JOEL...before you plunk down $50 , do a search of "amberina" on eBay....
I'm not sure what you saw, but it sounds like a more modern piece of glass...
