Hi,
I found an old metal plate while looking for bottles. This plate measures 12''x15'' with a small opening in it. It is embossed with: S. S. Jewett Co. Buffalo, NY. Does anyone know anything about this company, when it was in business and what they produced? It looks like some part of a coal stove. I did find metal stove legs in the same area. I found it in Marquette, Michigan. Let me know your thoughts.

Matt
