I went over to my aunts today and did a little work for her. Cut down some limbs on her peach tree, cut down a small tree that had sprouted up by a shed. I then dragged it out to the curb for the city to shred. I was getting ready to leave when she said here you can have this. She told me that my uncle, now deceased, had bought it at a garage sale mid 70s for a dollar. I was thinking it is a piece of slag someone has sculpted. Weight is about 4lbs and length is about 12". So whats the general consensus of all of you people.

Looks deliberate to me.. a glass sculpture, carefully planned and executed by the artist, who may or may not have been under the influence. Is it signed?

Hey David,

Man, that would make a great hood ornament for the ole Bottle Wagon. Cool piece.

I think it was an attempt at making a glass cane whimsey that didn't turn out well.
